Mrs. Bradford's Classroom Rules and Procedures

I wanted something slightly different for my first day of school, so we made a video depicting the good and bad ways to do things around my classroom. William and Alan (Will's brother) acted as my 5th grade students. They are hilarious and very true to life.

The sound is a little bit off in the end. Apparently ilife '09 has some kinks to it.

Enjoy:

I showed it today and my class went crazy! All they wanted to do for the rest of the day was re-watch the video. I just hope they actually learned something from it--like how much I really do hate 5th graders snacking on Ramen Noodles and Flamin' Hot Cheetos.

  1. Jenny, I think you are the best 5th grade teacher there ever was. I wish I was in your class and I really wish you were my kids teacher.

  2. Jenny, I laughed so hard. What a great idea for teaching procedures! I'm getting my classroom geared up for another year (I teach 3rd),but I still have a a few weeks before school starts. It would be so fun to pull something like that off for the first day...we'll see if I can get to it among the 50 million other things that have to get done. =)

  6. First of all, I'm so happy that I found your blog because Andrea has been telling me about how hilariuos it is for months. Second, I love this! Let me know how it's been working. Have they been eating Ramen? Maybe I could try something like this. On second thought, maybe I should just show your video to my class:)
